There is no possibility to correctly translate a three dimensional world on a two dimensional surface, therefore, each world map has its distortions that alter our perception of the size of the different elements on the globe.
is very curious that the most commonly used maps tend to distort the world so that makes it appear that the countries of northern Ecuador are larger than those in the south. I do not quite understand why (although I can think about what). The blog
"Information Is Beautiful" is plotted very clearly The real size of Africa. is so large that it is within the United States, China, India, Europe West, Spain, France, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Japan and more space left over.
